Nut milk is an easy way to get the nutritional benefits from nuts. Nut milk is easy to prepare, does not need to be cooked and is alive with vitamins, minerals and enzymes.

Nuts in general are very nutritious, providing protein and many essential nutrients such as vitamin A and E, minerals such as phosphorous, potassium, essential fatty acids and fibre. Even though they supply the body with good fats, they should be eaten in moderation in their raw state, non-roasted and no-salted to gain the nutritional benefits. People who have difficulty digesting seeds and nuts can soak and grind them first into a nut butter with olive oil, as this helps release the phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors that nuts contain.
