Magnesium - Which Supplement is Best?
To gain the maximum benefit from our diet, it is important to know which foods are high in this mineral. Virtually all green vegetables such as spinach are good sources of magnesium, because the centre of the chlorophyll molecule contains magnesium.

Although there are innumerable magnesium supplements available, some are more efficient than others. Oral supplements always combine magnesium with another substance such as salt. Examples would be magnesium oxide, magnesium sulphate and magnesium carbonate. One of the most important properties of the supplement is the bioavailability of the element required, in this case, magnesium. Bioavailability refers to the amount of magnesium in food, medications and supplements that is absorbed in the intestines and is ultimately available for biological activity in the body.
