What is it that takes us from a state of disease one day to a state of good health some time later?
This simple question was one I asked myself several years ago having seen a number of people improve their health well against the odds. I needed to find the answer, so I began my search. I knew that there would never be a strict protocol for getting well, as what works for one may not work for another, yet there had to be some common factors in these people’s journey. At the college where I teach I have witnessed many people and students improve their health through changes to their diet and lifestyle, as well as changes in their approach to life. In all honesty, I very rarely see a total change where someone has a degenerative health disorder one day and some time later, they do not, but it does happen and in each case their stories are nothing short of remarkable.
