Hidden toxins in our food are emerging as a link to chronic health disorders, health disorders which are increasing in epidemic proportions, disorders such as behavioural problems, learning difficulties, weight problems, bone disorders and chronic allergies.
In due course, hidden toxins in our food will be labelled as the human and planetary poison of the 21st Century.
In this article I will look at the detrimental effect of added phosphate in our food. Phosphate is commonly used as an agricultural fertiliser, the sale of which has become a worldwide industry built on marketing phosphate fertilisers to farmers. The fertiliser actively stimulates soil growth and is particularly attractive to farmers whose soils are constantly depleted of nutrients from over cultivation. Whilst increased agricultural production has been viewed as beneficial for the economy, the effects of increased usage of phosphate to humans, animals and the environment has emerged as as a real health risk. Phosphate is after all an acid.
