Most children start school full of energy and the enthusiasm, but after a few weeks their excitement wanes and their busy schedule means they are left breathless and waiting for the next break to begin.

Most children start school full of energy and the enthusiasm, but after a few weeks their excitement wanes and their busy schedule means they are left breathless and waiting for the next break to begin. A generation ago, children had afternoons to pay ball games in the street, pick apples and help mum prepare evening meals, but now many are coping with 12 hour days split between school, often travelling, between child care and after school activities. Here are some of the ways I help support my children’s health during these busy times - maybe they could help you too?
