Endometriosis develops when fragments of functional endometrium tissue from within the uterus are found elsewhere in the body.

Endometriosis develops when fragments of functional endometrium tissue from within the uterus are found elsewhere in the body. Common sites include the ovaries, broad ligaments, pelvis, vagina, vulva, perineum, intestines or bladder. This tissue enlarges then bleeds every month responding to hormonal stimulation causing painful formation of tissue cysts, scar tissue, adhesions and inflammation. So, what can be done? 

My severe monthly pain and nausea led to a diagnosis of endometriosis. After a few years of treatment with herbs and lifestyle changes I thankfully no longer experience the endometriosis symptoms. I truly feel there is hope, and most of us can resolve endometriosis with natural medicine.
