Daily use of Aspirin® has been linked with pancreatic cancer. Aspirin has been described as the drug of the millennium, but is it? A recent report on Harvard University’s ongoing study of 88, 000 nurses has revealed that those who took two or more aspirins a week for 20 years or more had a 58 per cent higher risk of pancreatic cancer.
"Apart from smoking, this is one of the few risk factors that have been identified for pancreatic cancer", Dr Eva Schernhammer of Harvard Medical School and Dr. Brigham from the Women’s Hospital in Boston, US who led the study told a news conference.
