The latest new age mumbo? No, well, maybe. It is possible that alchemy is enjoying a small renaissance, but in fact, it has been around for many, many centuries.
Alchemy means to take a certain state and transmute it into a better state. So, if all life is energy, you are raising the vibration of the energy in your life to achieve a better one. Turning silver into gold is symbolic for raising the energy level in your own life by always seeking to do what is worthy. It’s like the old Christian values – without the religion.
Spiritual alchemy, or theoretical alchemy is taking the base, dense, material of ourselves – symbolically called “lead” – and transmuting it into gold.
